So Ubisoft has done it after all ,There DRM is rocking from top to bottom as crackers are having a real tuff time trying to crack it, & the rumor that it was cracked within 24 hrs is totally phony ,Many cracked versions for AC2 are available out there but none of them seem to work .The game does launch but your joy won’t last for long as it freezes before you get into actual game play .
The game setup doesn’t have all of the required code needed to run the game , and Ubi’s DRM system downloads pieces of code and updates or overwrites it to keep the game Running . This is why the new DRM requires the Always on internet connection. May be getting a legit copy and finishing it to the end will give you all the code which can be used to create a crack , but again as the code gets replaced and overwritten frequently while you were gaming even this process (which is rumored to under implementation) may not work .
Renowned crackers like Razor 1911 ,Skid row ,Reloaded etc are still working on this and it would be really interesting to see if they can crack the game this time .But if they arent able to do it ,no one would be surprised to see EA,Rockstar,Code masters etc buying Ubi’s DRM copyrights.
So is this the End of Piracy for Pc Games? If this one isn’t cracked then most likely it is !!
I’m glad for Ubisoft but my compassion is for Legit gamers who are annoyed due to the restrictions like not even letting them have game ‘s saved files ,But we have to agree no matter how restrictive or annoying this DRM is ,it is the only possible way to stop piracy .Anyways Good Job Ubisoft .

nah, there is and always will be a way, then can make a crack just like a virus, some viruses stop windows update,windows explorer,anti virus or any other way that can stop the virus right? so what the crack will do is stop the downloading of the new code,disable security’s etc… this may be a little hard though
