The much awaited I-tablet is here
But funny part is, it is not launched by Apple !
The Uk based company X2 launched it recently and nothing to be surprised to see it being powered by the Widows 7 mobile with the netbook’s king Intel’s Atom processor.
Specs Include a 12 inch multi-touch screen and 250gb storage,a 1.3mp cam for your thirst of video chatting (this could have been beter ,may be a 3.2 mp cam or higher ).It also includes USB ports and an HDMI-out connection allowing you to connect to bigger screens.price and battery life details aren’t disclosed.
Company claims it capable of multi tasking ,runing flash videos and other blah blah but not so cool thing is its 35mm thick making it a bulky slate compared to the 13.5mm apples expected tablet (Hmm after all its apple isnt it)
Many more tablet are expected to show up lately but though it might not panic apple or hp but will affect their market for sure.

Storage should be SSD, given the mobile nature of the device.
Camera should be 5 MP since this is being used in several phones already.
And no, this device won’t affect Apple’s market share once it starts selling.
Recently refers few hours from this post was made(may be more than 24 hrs im not sure of it),
but it will effect the market share of apple as this would be cheaper featuring almost same features (multi touch,flash) and obviously ppl who cant afford the apple product will go for these unless they are blind apple fans ,its the same thing like the china made cell phones grabbing a good share of market(
but i am referring to much better company so the case is even better for non apple product to sell off ) ,but this will happen only if this thing (so called ipad) reaches the ppl as something special with some significance ,other wise apple lovers or ppl with “lets try something different ,i have loads of money to waste”
strategy will go with the apple product ,so no market loss or so ever. btw storage specs were disclosed only as storage of 25o gb ,im not sure if it is HD or SSD ,may be to reduce the price to maximum they will mostly use HD

this is mostly hard drive(99% confirmed via other tech sites) and thats the reason its 35mm thick.
Apart frm reducing the cost of the tablet (theyve compromised with the size for this -my opinion)what are the other reasons u feel x2 adapted hard drive for? may be they shld have consulted u for ssd equally priced to HD.

The $700 for that SSD will come down when it is used in more and more products. I still say that, due to the nature of the mobile devices, the drive should be SSD. Friction is zero, thereby extending the life of the SSD device.

ssd 250 gb is touching $1000+ margin ,anyways say its $700 as u said and buying many may cutoff $150 ,now the memory itself costing $550 and guess the total price for this product
where as i bet this product with the HD and above mentioned config would be launched arnd $500-650 . Even apple is going to use mere 16-64gb Flash SSD not RAM SSD on their i tablet.
