This a very old news but i was late in seeing it ,Steam is giving away free Half life Deathmatch and Half-Life 2 Lost Coast for all Ati card owners. Thats right all you need is to own a Ati Radeon card and you can download the Full original game and Nvidia card owners can have Half life Deathmatch , Half-Life 2 Lost Coast ,peggle Extreme and Portal Time slice (Demo).
All you need is to create a free steam account and Steam will validate your card and you download the game and start playing online right away .
