well i was shocked today as i visited my friends place and found he was using gtalk on his pc with the internet connected to his 5310 , so whats the big deal ?
Actually he was using the Aircel internet for 3 days package which costs you jus rs 14 ,but the koolest thing was the speed ,i was amazed to see when the download speed was hitting 19-20kBps in IDM and again its Unlimited ,and my friend says in the nights and early mornings its much more . If you want to use it for 3 days it will cost 14 Rs/- and if u want one month unlimited usage then it costs amazing rs 97/- only ! So after coming home i called him and asked him to mail me a Screen shot of his download speed, here have a look
well i see this a TATA and Reliance and Airtel wireless USB internet killer ,coz checking ur emails and downloading small files ( generally which is done by many ppl on their laptops when they are off home,during journeys etc) is a piece of cake with this Aircel net service.
So why spend big bucks with Airtel or reliance wireless usb plans which costs ..ahem … have a look at Airtel wireless data card/usb plans (again they are not even unlimited 
)
Agreed that speed provided by these are higher but hey what is your requirement ? If its what i have mentioned then you are definitely wasting your money with these data card or usb plans & again you also have to buy the usb/data card by spending 2999, here its just the Aircel free Gsm sim :p ,so choose wisely.

i had a doubt whether the above speed will be consistent or not?
well mostly it is ,its always above 10 ,using emails ,social book markings etc arent a big deal ,at nights & early morning speed is hiting 25kbps + oe may be even more ,watever ,its much more than that we are paying for ,for 14 rs for 3 days u cant ask for anything better ! ur KBps correction has been done ,thanx for telling

at a speed of 20KB/s it should take 6sec to download 120KB

well nice calculation out there ,but i don’t think ur used to download mangers ,a download manager downloads several parts of the same file from different mirrors(servers) ,speed keeps fluctuating within seconds ,well this was a random screen shot in which u got the statsas they are now , but the very next microsecond the speed may fall or rise and the time left ur seeing changes,it doesn’t need to sync always ,have u ever copied data within ur hard disk ? hope u did ,coz ull see initially even small amount of data showing 175 mins left etc and very next sec u see data is transferred already or is now showing 2 mins left ,so what i want to drive 2 u here is the time left can be assumed as an avg time taken , softwares aren’t yet developed so accurately so that u can apply ur mathematical concepts here
