PS3 Finally hacked ?!

It has been a long time ps3 had released and till date it is invincible .But finally George Hotz did the magic He is the person who hacked the iphone for the first time so if he claims so definitely its a news worth to be seen.

Its a fact that Many Gamers prefer the Xbox over the ps3 even though it is less durable (RROD) coz xbox 360 is hackable (one can run pirated games) .

This is the first time somebody had went this far and claimed to crack the ps3 again since its hotz with the iphone craking fame we cannot hold ourselves but talk about it .

This is what Hotz had to say

I have read/write access to the entire system memory, and HV level access to the processor. In other words, I have hacked the PS3. The rest is just software.
As far as the exploit goes, I’m not revealing it yet. The theory isn’t really patchable, but they can make implementations much harder. Also, for obvious reasons I can’t post dumps. I’m hoping to find the decryption keys and post them, but they may be embedded in hardware. Hopefully keys are setup like the iPhone’s KBAG.

Its a great news for pirate Gamers and ps3 sales would shoot up if this becomes true but its a very sad news for the Game makers and sony also which will in turn be affected the other way.
